Donna, Katie and I spent a few hours at Deb's on Monday - stitching, yakking, eating, yakking and yakking and yakking..........................

As usual, it involved a bit of food.............

Debbie's home reminds me a lot of yours - absolutely immaculate, very welcoming and you can see that she loves making her house a home.
Her double wedding ring quilt looks, well, judge for yourself.......

Debbie hand quilted it - and added texture by using trapunto to puff up parts of the quilt.

This is Debbie's "camping" quilt.................

Debbie's favourite colours are blue and white.................

Katie was stitching the binding of her double wedding ring quilt...............aren't her colours gentle.............

Fiona machine quilted this quilt for Katie - I must say that I do love the way Fiona machine quilts - she does not make the quilts look stiff and often, if you see her quilting from a distance, it looks hand quilted. I am not a fan of over machine quilting..................

Donna was working on her new paper pieced quilt - using nice bright colours - out of her comfort zone - I really, really like the background fabric...........

Donna's fabric addiction has reached a point where she now buys WHOLE bolts of fabric..........

It was a lovely day - which I need to do more of.
