All quiet......................

Dearest Mom and Dad
Sorry about the lack of posts recently - but my mind has been elsewhere but Gareth is on the mend now, as you know.

I found this little cup and saucer at an op shop - not the best - but I love its little feet.

Squash has not been very happy lately - she has had the itches so back onto medication for her.

I made spicy carrot and lentil soup with parmesan toast the other night - it was pretty good.

Gareth and Chloe on their way to the prize giving dinner - as you know he did very well there too. Unfortunately, it did mean that he had to get up on stage twice - and he was only out of hospital the day before.

George got into a fight the other day - he was really shaken by it - thank goodness Vaughn was there to rescue him.

We have some good days lately.

Button was out and about!

And I bought the world's ugliest brown teapot - could not resist it.

So, Vaughn and I set up the computer room - ready for the next 5 months working - I think this time it will go a lot faster because we know what we are doing now.
I am sure that my posts for the next few months will be as boring as this one, as I will not be getting out as much.
All my love

Gareth doing his thing...................

Then this happened..................

Sooooooooooooooooooo painfull...................... very happy I was not there.

On some painkillers for the victory speeches.

Holding the trophies,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hugging his Chloe. He goes in for the surgery on Thursday.

On to some more cheerful news - IT RAINED!!! I don't think Charlotte was as happy as I was.

Onto some news about George - as you know he is slightly obsessed with me..........

Since my last trip to Sydney he has started a new habit....................when I leave the house he must spend all his time roughing up every quilt and mat in the house.
Gareth's empty bed........'

Button's bed.

Bathroom mat..

Our bed..............

I got this lovely recipe from Sue - Weetbix with cranberries - I think Dad will like it.

Some bad news.........

Dearest Mom and Dad
So, as you know, Gareth managed do to some damage to his knee. BUT, he has the MRI scan on Monday and then we will know for sure. I have a feeling that all will be ok.

On a more joyous note - have a look at this magnificent quilt!! Fiona paper pieced it .................

I mean...............................its glorious...................

Jane was salivating over it.....................

Gail, from my Crazy classes made this collar. I taught her "twisted chain" and she was off. This is before we added some beading around the edge.

I have put on weight - no wonder, I have a certain friend who pops in after work on the odd day and we have a few wines.  Good thing Jane is back to bring back some sort of normality.

Here are some photos of last weeks game

Captain, my captain.........

I came across this a few weeks ago at my favourite spot - Point Cartwright - somebody had set up this little picnic - flowers, tea, chocolate etc..............

We all hung around for a while waiting to see who it all belonged and what it was all about - but eventually, I had to go home................... idyllic setting for whatever it was.
