The week that was.....................

Dearest Mom and Dad
We are still loving our little flower shaped coffee table.

I am kept very busy teaching - which I am enjoying meeting new students.

Ella and Lyla popped over so we had a little picnic.

I found all these South African goodies at a chain store here. Black cat peanut butter - the best!!!

I made a tuna and vegie quiche the other night - this is before I added the eggs etc.

Taking time to hand quilt this quilt I made a few years ago.

I removed the papers from my scrappy hexagon quilt.

Another meal - salmon fish cakes with horse radish sauce - Vaughn loved it!

While Sydney and other areas in NSW were battered by a terrible storm, Mooloolaba put on a different kind of show.

Saw this on my run in Mooloolaba the other day - made me think of what you said about some areas in South Africa who have no water, I felt sad.

All my love
Jenny

Photos and Easter

 Dearest Mom and Dad
I headed off my photography course last weekend- bloody difficult - I was confused.
Anyway, I did manage to take some photos - but as you can see, they are not all that clear!!

But anyway........................

I learned a lot!

I love tendrils!!

Gwen, from my Tuesday crazy class, had a big birthday .............

So, we celebrated.

I finished my shawl thingy - these photos are taken off the Patchwork Angel facebook page.

As, I said, it didn't turn out quite as I would have liked - so I pressed the hell out of it.
Then I was happy.

Jane gave me this delicious recipe - brown rice, roasted pumpkin, onion and chillies.

George is happy that Gareth is home.

We found this cute this coffee table made from Tassie oak at an auction a while back.

I love the base - reminds me of my childhood dining room table.

More photos to follow.
