A good Friday............

Dearest Mom
I had such a lovely day on Friday. I got together with Pam, Irene, Leanne and Connie at my home. We are supposed to meet once a month but this is the first time I have seen them THIS year - just not good enough - I so enjoy their company!!!!!!
I also got to have a little quilt show as they bought all their goodies to show me.
Pam found all these purple and pink squares at an op-shop - she popped into to see Lee and they added the white spot and the green - I wish I could find some neatly cut up fabric when I visit op-shops!!!!!

The girls are each making one of these quilts - they bought pattern and fabric from the Patchwork Angel.

This quilt of Pam's is so effective - strong design - I like this one.........

..............Pam has made it for a little boy so each square has an animal featured in it............

Pam and Irene have been making this block of the month for as long as I have known them - only joking - it just feels that way..........

Pam has been a very busy girl ...........she has also made a few bears........

.......got me thinking - I need to make the teddies I bought from TeddyTech in Durbs!!!!!!!

Irene has had a busy time - travelling across the world - she knitted scarves from this "wool"

...............when knitted up it looks like this - who knew??

Now, nobody EVER whats to be in the photos - except Irene - they are happy for the quilts to be photographed but not them...............So just to prove to you that they are not my imaginary friends they agreed to pose for one photo!!!!!

Little did they know I had sneaked this one in - they were too busy learning how to crochet flowers - Letitia's flowers are taking over the world!!!!!
