A show and tell.................

Dearest Mom
It's always good to see the quilts that have been made in classes that I teach. A few of us got together for a quick show and tell...........
Deb combined Kaffe Fassett and black and white dots.............

............she loved it - we all did................

Isobel used a layer cake - circa 1930's - and a jelly roll for her border - this photograph does not do this quilt justice, which is a pity ................

Tory's blue quilt is not yet completed - she is a lady who likes things how she likes them - so this takes a while!!!!! Actually, I know a lot of people like Tory...............you know who you are!!!!!

Sara-Maree - lovely and bright and happy - she will be using this quilt as a floor rug in your baby's room - lovely idea!!!!

Di's quilt was finished a while back - quilted by Fiona - this is a gift for her son and daughter-in-law - although Di would like to keep it for herself!!!!

Now, Cheryl, on the other hand, arrived at the show and tell with her hexagons still in their little packets. To be fair, though, she has been a busy girl - what with an overseas trip and all!!!!

Deb - maker of many quilts - bought this one along too. She bought this as a kit from the Patchwork Angel.

Joanne's first quilt - welcome to club, Joanne. I hope you were told that patchwork is addictive!!

I apologise for some quilts that are not on this post - the photographs were not very good.

And to the girls who could not make the little trunk show - maybe next time.

I have finished quilting the quilt that you do not like Mom - all I need to do is bind it. Phew, well ahead of schedule. It has been so hot and dry - not very pleasant hand quilting weather.
