The Shakey....................

Button did have a few things on her list that she wanted me to go to when I was in Sydney - "The Shakey" was one of them. It is a hotel that was build in 1879 called the "Shakespeare Hotel" - "Shakey" to the locals. It is in Surrey Hills - one of the most charming suburbs of Sydney - well, I think so anyway.................
I took so may photos of everything in the hotel - it fascinated me - so much history......... tiles on the wall of the pub...............

The hotel is very small - with lots of different rooms that you can choose to sit in................ the light fitting in the main dining area..............
We sat in the main upstairs room - as all the smaller rooms were taken ...........................
