A "catch-up", scones and a quilt show.......
Jane, Debbie, Letitia and went to the Caloundra Quilt show on Saturday morning..........
..................lots of quilts to see..................
..............this is my favorite one - if I can remember correctly the maker of this quilt made it for her son - it had to have "no fabric with flowers on"..........isn't it so striking?
Vaughn made a template for me to make a quilt a few years ago...........Margret asked if she could have one ..........................this is Margret's quilt - very different to mine - anyway his template has "gone forth and multiplied" - quite a few people are now making this quilt using his template..................
...................I also liked this one - I am very partial to scrappy quilts.............

..................do you remember - we made a quilt like this for Jonathan years ago - I wonder if he still has it?
The challenge for the show - each member was given 2 pieces of green fabric and they had t0 make a place mat - adding fabrics of their choice....................

It was so good to catch up with Margret - I don't see her often enough........pity Cathy was not there - maybe next time...............
