Button's visit.........
Dearest Mom and Dad
While we were enjoying a visit from Button, two families on the Sunshine Coast were facing their worst nightmare. Halley Appleby died a few weeks ago during a rugby match. He played for Noosa and then for Queensland Uni - it was only fitting that the Rays travelled to Noosa to play in a game that celebrated Halley's life. His brave Mom read a poem out and his Dad said a few words.
But my heart broke for Daniel Morcombe's mom - a man has been charged with his murder - so the reality is that Daniel will never be coming home - Daniel was abducted about 8 years ago. His parents never gave up looking for him - quite incredible.
Back to Button's visit. It was a very short one - she arrived late Friday night - I worked on Saturday - we then went to Noosa for the rugby.
Saturday night we went out for dinner...... Mulu Char........
The family - shame - Vaughn does look so tired - travelling to Brisbane everyday is not easy...
Mulu Char is an African style restaurant - hence the "Castle" for Gareth!!
Gareth ordered ribs and steak...........
................ a few minutes later.

"Romany cream" cheesecake..........

Wonder what these two are talking about - they spent all their time together - chatting....
My little family know what I like - so off we went to Point Cartwright with George and Squash!! Lovely way to end off my weekend with all my little chicks under one roof.
