OH MY GOSH!!!! This recipe might not look like anything BUT it was delicious. I can see Dad enjoying it with a glass of white.

Here is the recipe - so unbelievably simple, but as Button would say, that's what great food is about, simple flavours beautifully combined.

Pasta with prawns, lemons, anchovies and capers.

about 300g dried Italian pasta (about 4 servings)
400g prawn cutlets
1/2 good olive oil
3 cloves of garlic crushed
1 lemon cut into 8 wedges
2 tablespoons capers
4 chopped anchovies
(I did add chillies to mine)

To serve
parmesan
chopped fresh herbs eg lemon basil and thyme

Method:
Cook pasta
Heat1 tablespoon olive oil add prawns and cook 3-4min until just pink. Remove and keep warm.
Add rest of olive oil to pan with garlic, capers, lemons and anchovies (I added the chillie at this stage)
Heat through for 3-5 min until fragrant and infused (oh wow, the smell at this stage was amazing)
Return prawns to the pan with cooked pasta - toss and heat through.
Mom, you have to try this......

In my sewing room I am working through my half square triangles

and am getting seriously addicted to clamshells...............
