Dearest Mom and Dad
Seems as though I have not blogged in ages.... sorry about that. Mom, I thought you might enjoy seeing Marie's garden, well, just a bit of it. Her husband goes "up North' or "out West" or 'out Bush" - but anyway, he finds all these interesting logs and things.........
This burned out log has a colony of native bees living in it - they are very small little bees that do not sting - so Marie tells me..................

Marie made the most delicious muffins for tea - I love the presentation ...............
Vaughn and I went out to have a little celebratory lunch on Sunday........... we have been in Oz TEN YEARS!!!!! Can you believe it?????
I made up a parcel of quintessentially South African goodies for two special friends.........to say thanks............

And Margret who I met just 2 weeks after landing in Oz - as you know she was so very kind to me in those early years that I found so hard.
